Friends of NOAA is an independent, volunteer organization made up of diverse stakeholders who support the mission, products, and services of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Our members are dedicated to demonstrating the wide-ranging impact of NOAA through advocacy, public education, and community engagement. Our collective focus is to ensure that NOAA has the capacity and necessary resources to effectively execute its mission.
We envision a dynamic partnership among industry, academia, and nonprofits to collaboratively support NOAA’s mission, products, and services. By bringing together expertise and resources, we aim to advance solutions that strengthen the stewardship of our oceans, atmosphere, and climate—fostering sustainability, resilience, and informed communities for the benefit of future generations.
